Our Food Philosophy

Originally established in 1984 La Bistro has long been a community staple in the fine dining scene of Dallas/Fort Worth. Known for it’s white table cloths, dining room piano, unmatched professional service that will make you feel like your dining with family and of course food that’s made from scratch with top quality ingredients and lots of love and attention to detail you’ll feel like your visiting the streets of Italy when you dine with us.

While we are mainly Italian we offer some of the finest locally sourced steak choices in DFW including our own in-house dry-aged beef program as well as our “On The Rocks” option which is one of the most unique interactive dining experiences for cooking your protein at the table there is. Not to mention our excellent seafood choices, chef features we offer off-menu daily and our allocated whiskey collection which rivals any establishment in Texas. We have something for everyone to enjoy and be excited about at La Bistro

“What an amazing place! It’s very romantic. The staff is very courteous and professional. The owner is very gracious! Started off with salad and bread. The tomato vinaigrette is delicious! For entrees I had the Tuscan Sirloin. It was so flavorful with the mushroom sauce! It was accompanied by roasted vegetables. My wife had Fettuccine La Bistro. The shrimp was very fresh and cooked perfectly. The sauce was full flavored and not too rich and heavy. For dessert we shared a Creme Brulee. It was light and airy and a perfect end. I highly recommend this place!”

“Food was delicious. Service was awesome. The owner came to the table to check on us and was very personable. You can tell he really takes pride in his business, as he should. The tomato soup had bell pepper and risotto mixed in; veal courdon blue tasted like comfort food; orange roughy was flaky and delicious and covered with a crab/lobster sauce; creme brulee was DIVINE and followed by shots of Frangelico. There was a superb piano player as well. The atmosphere was laid back, and we relaxed over a bottle of red wine. Will definitely be back.”
